SuessMainStage: When "Silents" Was Golden

This fun musical (especially written for young voices) is a tribute to the early years of the twentieth century when silent movies mesmerized theater audiences. As the building owner discusses plans to convert a former silent movie studio, ghostly visages of the movie stars who live there reveal themselves to the audience. Prospective renters are frightened away by the actors who play out musical selections from silent film sets. Eventually the silent movie stars seek out a group who are attempting to have the building declared an historic site and who will create a memorial to the silent movie era. Your child will love portraying the characters of Laurel and Hardy, Greta Garbo, Lon Chaney, Lillian Gish, Charlie Chaplin and many others.

Welcome to the JungleJuniors: Welcome to the Jungle

Join Tumbili the monkey, Tembo the elephant, Kiboko the hippo, Twiga the giraffe, and the rest of the jungle gang for a very special African adventure. A group of storytellers narrates the story of Panya, a tiny mouse who uses her charm to escape the claws of Maliki, a ferocious lion. But when Maliki gets caught in the hunter's net - who do you suppose will be the first to his rescue? Welcome to the Jungle is a story of promises kept and friendships made, told in simple songs and with a script written especially for young performers.
